These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites and services (the "Services") provided by CleoHR, Inc. ("CleoHR," "we," "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who may use the Services

You must be able to form a binding contract and, where you use the Services to hire, be authorized to act for your organization. Candidates must be old enough to work lawfully in their jurisdiction.

2. The Services

CleoHR provides a platform for verified frontline hiring, including applicant screening, identity verification, background checks, drug screening, and I-9 / E-Verify. Some checks are performed by third-party providers and consumer-reporting agencies, and are subject to their availability and applicable law.

3. Employer responsibilities

Use results lawfully, including following FCRA disclosure and adverse-action requirements and applicable anti-discrimination, ban-the-box, and biometric laws.
Configure checks appropriately for each role and jurisdiction.
Keep account credentials secure and ensure your users comply with these Terms.

4. Candidate ownership

Candidates own their verified Work Passport credential. With the candidate's consent, verification may be reused for future applications to reduce repeat screening.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to access data without authorization, interfering with the Services, using results for impermissible purposes, or violating any applicable law.

6. Fees

Paid features are billed as described in your order or on our pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including software, design, and content, are owned by CleoHR or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services under these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that verification results are error-free or that the Services will be uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CleoHR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for amounts exceeding what you paid for the Services in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
